Easily recognised species, dark brown with two sets of opposing pale yellow spots and an orange brown head.

Leaf-mine: Aug - Sept. Gallery mine in the leaves of Alder (Alnus glutinosa), and in some localities Bog Myrtle (Myrica gale).

Mine: Either the leaf or a good photograph required
