The Norfolk Moth Survey began life as a small group of keen amateur lepidopterists in 1985. From this small group it developed under the guidance of the Natural History Department of the Castle Museum in Norwich. It now numbers over 200 interested people in East Anglia and beyond. It seeks to:

Research moth distribution and numbers in the County of Norfolk.
Hold Summer meetings.
Present indoor identification and members information meetings.
Collect & record information in association with Butterfly Conservation - National Moth Recording Scheme (NMRS) and the Norfolk Biodiversity Information Service (NBIS).
Field Meeting Results Archive
NMS official meetings plus additional events.

Norfolk Moth Survey Spring Meeting

Weston Park
Meet at the old dairy farm at the bottom of the park TG106170.

In a change to the usual indoor meeting, this year the NMS are holding an evening larval hunt (plus light trapping) at the Dino Park! (details to follow)
