Distinctive black and brown markings on a white background.

Occurring in pasture land, chalky places, gravel pits, waysides and sand dunes, with a preference for well-drained, dry localities throughout the British Isles. Widespread but Uncommonly recorded.

First Recorded in 1874.
Last Recorded in 2023.
