Status
Rare.
Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) Restricted to damp fenland in parts of East Anglia. Known from Stalham, Sutton Fen, Catfield Fen and Strumpshaw Fen in Norfolk, and Woodwalton Fen in Huntingdonshire.
The angulate fascia helps separate this species from similar species except E. poae.
First recognized as British from specimens taken at Stalham, Norfolk in 1967 (E.C. Pelham-Clinton)
Leaf-mine: April (June, Aug)
Mine from leaf tip downwards covering full width of leaf at first, then irregular central line.
