First modern-day record of a worn female, confirmed by dissection, recorded at Grimes Graves VC28 in 2015 (Bob Heckford, Stella Beavan, 16/05/15)

Recorded at Foulden Common in 2017 (dissected males 14/08/16, Chris Lewis)

Leaf-mine: April - May. July.
Narrow gallery mine, turning from yellow to purple.

Similar to several other Elachista species, identification by dissection of the genitalia required.
