Local.
Well recorded in the Norfolk Broads.
This species has several different forms, from the well-marked variation, f. fibrosa, which is frequently recorded, to a very dark unmarked form, except for light kidney mark, f. leucostigma, as well as several intermediate forms.
Fens, marshes, riversides, margins of lakes and ditches.

Recorded in 60 (81%) of 74 10k Squares.
