Status Common. Resembles Hedya nubiferana but is slightly smaller and the two dark postmedian dots are situated distal to the angle of the median fascia.
Widespread and common in woodlands, hedgerows and gardens throughout Britain and regularly recorded in Norfolk. The larva feeding in the shoots and later, in the leaves of the foodplant.Recorded in 65 (88%) of 74 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1983. Last Recorded in 2023. |
