Status
Scarce.
Adults can be separated from other Lampronia species by their relatively plain appearance.
The Larvae feed within branches of Birch, forming galls and depositing a reddish-brown frass around the exit hole.
New for Norfolk in 2019. Found on outside of conservatory window at North Walsham (P. Hampson, 24/05/19, Gen. Det. J. Clifton)
