Norfolk status
Scarce.
Pronounced sexual dimorphism, Female markings essentially as in male but more subdued and often partially obsolete.
Orchards and gardens, not very active by day.

First discovered in the British Isles in 1950, and was a pest in apple and cherry orchards in south-east England.

Old 1950's W. Norfolk records from Upwell, Wisbech, and Walton Highway. Several recent records.

Recorded in 19 (26%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1953.
Last Recorded in 2024.
