Norfolk status Endangered species. Possible migrant?
Found in hedgerows, fens, marshes, river-banks and other damp areas in parts of southern England.
Unusual influx of records from the UK in May 2017.
Only a single modern UK record form Middlesex up to 2017, then one was taken at light in London on 24/05/17 and another in Swindon, Wilts (VC7) on 25/05/17. S. Nash
New for Norfolk to an actinic trap at Upwell (VC28) on 23/05/17 - J. Wheeler (Det. S. Nash) Specimen was retained at the time, but overlooked, only identified when found at the back of the fridge during a search for a cold beer later in the year!
