Norfolk status
Nationally scarce (Nb) in grassy areas, on chalky and sandy soils.

Dark brown forewing, sometimes showing a purple tinge, with scattered paler scales. The white colouring of the abdomen underside can be used with caution to identify this species, however many species in this genus show a paler colour.
