Norfolk status Scarce. Formerly restricted to a few areas of coastal shingle in the south-east of England, with older records from inland localities suggested immigrants.
Double brooded species that can be found during May and June, August and September.
First recorded at Sheringham in 1992 (K. Durrant) followed by a scattering of inland records from across Norfolk in recent years where it is now thought to be resident.
