Norfolk status
Scarce.

First recorded in Britain at Walditch, Dorset on 13 October 2001 and has now rapidly colonised southern England.

Similar to other Cosmopterix species, showing four dashes in the basal area of wing. Cosmopterix scribaiella also shows these dashes.

New for Norfolk in 2020, recorded in VC27 at Hellesdon (D. Andrews) and VC28 at Ingoldesthorpe (R. Roche) on 30th October.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
