Norfolk status
Scarce.
Overlooked in the UK until the 1990s when specimens were identified in Hertfordshire.

Adults emerge between July and September, after which they hibernate for the winter, appearing again in the spring.

One of three species, Mompha divisella, M. jurassicella, M. bradleyi that are superficially similar and require genitalia dissection.
