Norfolk status
Overlooked in the UK until the 1990s when specimens were identified in Hertfordshire.

Adults emerge between July and September, after which they hibernate for the winter, appearing again in the spring.

One of three species, Mompha divisella, M. jurassicella, M. bradleyi that are superficially similar and require genitalia dissection.

First Norfolk record at Dersingham in 2011 (R. Jones, 30.09.2011)
New for VC27 at Shotesham in 2018 (A. Musgrove, 20/04/18)
