Scarce.
Occurs in woodland or along hedgerows.

A pale Caryocolum species with white or cream wings, the only similar Norfolk species is the rare C. blandulella.

If the specimen is small or particularly pale or worn, then dissection would be required.

Other than three pre 1900 records (Barrett), very few recent records including Blickling (1994) Hindolveston (2010+) and Great Ellingham (2014+).
