Norfolk status
Rare.

A scarce species in Britain, formerly only known from mature hedgerows and scrubland in parts of Worcestershire, Hertfordshire and Essex.

The dark transverse fascia at three-quarters will assist in identifying this species. Good photos and retained specimen if worn required.

Recently recorded for the first time in Suffolk (2019)

New for Norfolk in 2020 at Bowthorpe (29/07/2020, Jack Morris, Max Hellicar - Gen. Det. Keith Kerr) First for VC28 at Dersingham Bog in 2022 (J. Symonds, A. Brown, M. Hillier, 17/07/2022)
