One of three Elachista species found in Norfolk with a single yellow fascia. Lack of yellow cilia at the apex of the forewing characteristic.

Recorded at Foxley Wood (A.M. Emmet, 1991).

First modern-day VC28 record of a leaf-mine at Narborough Railway NWT during a meeting of the Norfolk Moth Survey group with John Langmaid and Brian Elliot. (15/10/16).
