Norfolk status
Scarce.
Now split into complex of three species.
Elachista regificella, E. geminatella and E. tengstromi.
Great Woodrush recorded as the foodplant for first two species. Hairy Woodrush the only known host plant for E. tengstromi.

E. regificella occurring only in SW England from Cornwall to Devon, Gloucs and Wiltshire. No records from Norfolk of E. tengstromi with confirmed records from Kent, Hampshire and Oxon.
