Angle of the markings on the forewing distinguish this from very similar previous species. Cherry Fruit Moth Argyresthia pruniella.
Flies by day and comes to light.

note: The angle between the fascia and the dorsum is about 45° in A. pruniella and 30° in A. bonnetella
