Uncertain.
Downland and open woodland.

Scarce, mainly recorded on downland in southern England and in open woodland in northern Scotland.
Adult moths can be beaten from Juniper bushes. The larvae feed in the green berries of the foodplant in August, circular holes showing that the berry is attacked.
