Norfolk status
Widespread and common distinctive species.

Forelegs thickly scaled at the base, appearing 'feathered' and a large white or yellow costal blotch that is triangular in shape with a short flat top, often with a backwards pointing extension.

Leaf-mine: July-September
Gallery which leads to a blotch, then creating two or three edge or tip of a leaf cones.
