Norfolk status
Locally common wherever foodplant grows on coastal saltmarshes.
Flies in late afternoon sunshine but also occasionally comes to light.

Sexually dimorphic in patterning, the female is dark brown with white markings, the male is much paler and may appear cream or ochre with faint markings, or almost unicolorous.

Leaf-mine: April - May; July - August.
Narrow gallery, subsequently one or more shorter mines or windows.

Mine: Either the leaf or a good photograph required
