Norfolk status
Common.
Distinctive resting posture with V shaped wings.
Coastal saltmarshes, occasional wanderers can be found inland.

Unlike the other members of the Pterophoridae, the Agdistinae have forewings which are not cleft or separated into 'plumes'.
