Norfolk status Rare. Records from Winterton & Caister 1993 to 1999 and Winterton in 2015. Yarmouth North beach in 2016.
Generally smaller than Homoeosoma nebulella although can overlap.
Very hard to separate Homoeosoma nebulella and H. nimbella. Genitalia examination can only get to genus level. The specimen size, wing venation, and presence of a weak vs strong costal shadow are all considered possible identifying factors by some authorities.
The Norfolk specimens from 2015 are documented here by Dave Appleton.
