Norfolk status Rare. (aka Warehouse moth) Pest species, a very common insect in tropical and temperate climates. Feeds on stored materials, nuts, almonds, cocoa beans and dried fruit, especially cacao (cocoa) and tobacco. A serious pest problem in the chocolate & tobacco industry! Sometimes found outdoors. Very similar to Ephestia woodiella. Genitalia determination required.
