Extremely local at coastal sandhills.
Can be confused with worn examples of Aphomia sociella (Bee Moth)

First Norfolk records - Holme in 1996 (K. McCabe, 14/07/96), Filby in 2008 (D. Hipperson, 15/07/08) and Yarmouth in 2010 (I. Mills, 09/07/10) and in 2012 (B. Jones, 09/08/12).
