First UK record in Hampshire 1988, with a number of records subsequently taken in the UK, many of which have been in close proximity to newly-thatched cottages.
First Norfolk record in July 2012, trapped in a garden near Riddlington (M. A'Court, 04/07/12) seen again in 2020 at Riddlington (A. Mansfield), suspected to have been imported in nearby thatch from the Ukraine.
Recorded in 2021 at Catfield Fen.
