Norfolk status
Suspected rare immigrant and adventive species originating from reeds imported from central Europe.

First UK record in Hampshire 1988, with a number of records subsequently taken in the UK, many of which have been in close proximity to newly-thatched cottages.

First Norfolk record in July 2012, trapped in a garden near Riddlington (M. A'Court, 04/07/12) seen again in 2020 at Riddlington (A. Mansfield), suspected to have been imported in nearby thatch from the Ukraine.

Recorded in 2021 at Catfield Fen.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Recorded in 3 (4%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2012.
Last Recorded in 2022.
