Norfolk status Rare migrant. Unmistakable yellow-underwinged European species, where it is double-brooded, inhabiting hot, dry, rocky situations. Occurring mainly in September and October in the UK, it was first recorded in Devon in 1967.
New for Norfolk in 2022 during a large influx of migrants to the UK in late October. Recorded at Eccles (N. Bowman) and Sheringham (A. Kershaw) both on 26/10/22, Hellesdon on 29/10/22 (D. Andrews) and first for VC28 at Dereham on 29/10/22 (D. Norgate)
