Norfolk status
Very common.
Characteristic yellow labial palps.
Colour pattern gives it the appearance of a bird-dropping or part of a flower.

Widespread and common in hedgerows, woodlands and gardens throughout Britain and Ireland. The adult seldom moves far from the foodplant. Larva live within a spun or rolled leaf on a variety of wild and cultivated rose. Well recorded in Norfolk.
