Norfolk status
Thick white streak to basal area of forewing, mottled with grey and black scales extending onto costa being diagnostic.

Occupying woodland (especially containing Birch) and heathland, a relatively common species throughout the British Isles with widespread records in Norfolk.
Larva feeds on Silver and Downy Birch.

Recorded in 43 (62%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1987.
Last Recorded in 2021.
