Local.
Distinctive species, but quite variable. Pale green ground colour with whitish and blackish markings. Common name from its appearance not foodplant.
Overwinters as an adult.

Recorded on 2nd April 2011 at Dersingham (Allan Drewitt) The first VC28 record since 1899!
Recorded in 2013 at Overstrand (G. Bond).

From 2019 the species has been more frequently recorded in Norfolk.
