Status Fairly Common and widespread in recent years.
Nationally Scarce, distinctive Gelechiid moth. Dry sandy areas, vegetated coastal shingle, grassland, waste ground, dry pastures and sand-dunes.

The larvae feed on Dock, particularly Curled Dock.
