Very similar to A. heracliana.
Methods of separation, including a larger wingspan, underparts often tinged pink and five brownish lines in the cilia near the base of the hindwing (see here) are thought to be unreliable.
Only reliable method of separation can be made by dissection of the genitalia. When recording please note how identification has been determined.
