Status Widespread. Distinctive but variable species. Abundant among privet and lilac everywhere, can be a pest in gardens.
Leaf-mine: June, August-September. Contorted blotch with black frass, then two successive cones formed by folding the tip of a leaf downwards.Recorded in 62 (84%) of 74 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1886. Last Recorded in 2023. |
