Rare immigrant/vagrant.
A very local species occurring mainly in the Huntingdonshire fens.
Confirmed Norfolk records from Holme (VC28) in 2001 (J. Clifton, 06/07/2001) and at Eccles (VC27) in 2023 (N. Bowman, 13/06/2023)

Can be confused with the pale form of Mere Wainscot, but has darker hindwings and not pale/white.

S41 - UK BAP priority species.
