Status Scarce. Very similar to Light Arches but generally darker. Grassland on chalky and limestone soils.
Recorded primarily locally in Breckland, with occasional records from other locations (confirmation required).
Characteristic dark wedges on the outer edge of the forewing separate this species from Light Arches.
