Coastal habitats, heathland, fens, woodland, scrub and gardens.
Round pure white mark on forewing characteristic.
Since 2000 this species has established itself as resident in Norfolk, with only 4 records in 2000, twenty years later we recorded over 2000, and it continues to increase with nearly 4000 in 2021!Recorded in 66 (89%) of 74 10k Squares.
