Local. Not as common as Foxglove Pug.

Found in Open grassy areas where Common Toadflax occurs.

Smaller and usually brighter-coloured than the similar Foxglove Pug, with the outer edge of the median band less indented close to the costal edge. Flight period is also later in the year.
