Status
Common and widespread.
Distinctively shaped pointed hindwing and chequered fringes are characteristic. Fringes and green colour fade in worn specimens.

note the very similar Sussex Emerald Thalera fimbrialis (Not recorded in Norfolk) has not a single, but two points on each hindwing.
