Status
Thick white streak to basal area of forewing, mottled with grey and black scales extending onto costa being characteristic.

Occupying woodland (especially containing Birch) and heathland, a relatively common species throughout the British Isles with widespread records in Norfolk.
Larva feeds on Silver and Downy Birch.
