Status
Extinct. Formerly local and scarce.
Recorded in the British Isles only from Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Known from Norfolk on the banks of the River Bure, Horning, Norwich district and Ranworth Fen.

Barrett [VCH 1901] Sericoris doubledayana
"which I had myself the pleasure of discovering in the same fen [Ranworth] in plenty in 1872, which continues commonly there, but of which I have no certain knowledge anywhere else."
