Norfolk status Local. A species whose distribution is now largely restricted to south-east England, considered to be widespread and relatively common in Norfolk. Hedgerows, woodland fringes and ditches. Formerly more widespread.
Larvae are found best where hop climbs to form aerial foliage which is in numerous wetlands of Norfolk.
