Immigrant and suspected resident.

Recent high number of records suggest a breeding population in Norfolk.

Norfolk records from Wells 1955, Hickling 1982 and Norwich 1983.
After an absence of several years, recorded at Yaxham (S. Rix, 21/10/08), Filby (D. Hipperson, 30/09/11) and Costessey (M. Casey, 04/08/12), Northacre (L. Lewis, 21/09/13) Hockwold in 2014 (R. Dyke, K. Puttick)

Several records in recent years.

An unusual spring record at Tibenham (C. Bishop, 30/05/15) followed by other early records in recent years.

Recorded in 32 (46%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2020.
