Norfolk status
Very rare migrant.

Occurs in southern Europe where it can be seen visiting flowers in sunny weather between May and August in two broods, as well as coming to light.

Several records in southern England with possible indications of local breeding in Sussex.

Adult moth found early evening at rest on foliage by the sea defences on the beach at Snettisham in September 2024. (N.Harris, 17/09/24)
