Norfolk status
Local.
One of three rather similar British species.
Elm woodland and shelterbelts, hedgerows and other open sites often where Wych Elm is the only Elm present.
Survived the major outbreaks of Dutch Elm Disease in the 1970s and 80s.

Recorded in 49 (66%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1871.
Last Recorded in 2023.
