Localised to the Norfolk coast.
Nationally Scarce species on coastal sand-dunes and beaches where Marram grass occurs.

Characteristic white streaks running the length of the forewing, with brilliant white hindwing.

Double brooded in Norfolk, the second generation is always smaller.

Recorded in 21 (28%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1834.
Last Recorded in 2024.
