Norfolk status Very scarce in recent years. Characteristic '8' marking on the forewing. Male has feathered antennae. Hedgerows, woodland, gardens.
After a gap of ten years, two specimens recorded in gardens on the same night in 2012! Thwaite St. Mary (Z. Madgett, 23/10/12) and Snettisham (R. Roche, 23/10/12). Not recorded again until 2020.
