Norfolk status
Common and widespread, occurring in most gardens.

The caterpillars are tapered like an elephant's trunk with two large eye spots and grow to 7cm long. They feed at night, but are often found hiding among leaves during the day.
Often found feeding on Fuschia in gardens.
