Norfolk status
Distinctive member of the 'Thorn' family with an unusual undulating wing resting position, resembling a crumpled leaf.
Broad-leaved woodland and scrub.

Adults on the wing in June - July. In Norfolk a partial second generation occurs in late August - September.

Recorded in 56 (81%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1871.
Last Recorded in 2020.
